Located in San Pedro de Macorís, a 6-minute walk from Juan Dolio, Las olas juan dolio provides accommodations with a restaurant, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness center. It's so cosy to sit in the little outside area either having breakfast or just chilling after having walked much. People were friendly but by the end of the 5 day trip, I was sick and tired of being hustled, solicited, and pan-handled. Not as quaint as some of the more rural towns but good for getting a taste of Barbados as ŵell as having contemporary malls and shops you could find at home.

The island is not cheap compared to other Caribbean islands so be mindful of this when traveling here but overall I recommend Nassau as a relaxing family vacation. The suites are spacious and comfy with wonderful beds and white linens and terra cotta showers with endless hot water. I liked this hotel alot, it came with a really nice clean room, guest services was so accommodating to my needs, we enjoyed the pool, and hot tub, the buffet was great food, loved the farina, also we were able to order out.
