Please enable JavaScript on your browser to best view this site.I’m still savoring the memories of this special walk in the Luberon…We just returned from three glorious weeks in the Luberon region of Provence, France, highlighted by wonderful groups of enthusiastic and compatible travelers and perhaps the best weather we’ve enjoyed in 13 years of hosting small group tours in Provence. Provence is fabled for its food, from simply tomatoes and olive oil, to signature dishes like bouillabaisse. Although we’ve seen the river flowing, this September the river bed was completely dry. (The Roman bridge was used for regular traffic until March 2005, when a modern bridge was built. At the end of this walk, we were refreshed and invigorated… it was an excellent way to start our last full day in the Luberon.
