I expected a fairly basic touristy menu because of the setiing(maybe forgetting I was in France, not...You go to Port Louis to visit the museum and fortress, you do not expect great food from such a remote city, even in France. The food presented at...only stopped for a drink - pounced on as soon as stopped outside drinks double the price of other bars in port-louis & surrounding area - abrupt staff but obviously suited many people as rammed full insideThis restaurant is literally on the beach in Port Louis, right next to one of the portals that allows you through the city walls and onto the sands. We had visited the nearby citadel and just walked through an arch in the city wall to look at the beach.

It was a quiet day so service was very fast and the 'menu du jour' was very good...Tourist trap !

null. Decor is now very fresh and contemporary and the windows have been enlarged to give fabulous sea/beach views. Food was nice, not overly expensive and service was fine, but got a bit stretched the busier the restaurant got...nice staff good food and above all the view and the tables almost on the sand.
