G, Guest Relation Executive at Cinnamon Dhonveli Maldives, responded to this reviewThis response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of TripAdvisor LLC.We were here for 5 nights, it rained for 1.5 days and most of the time it was very cloudy, the island and bungalows are great, we stayed in the newly renovated water bungalow and the lagoon was just a few steps away, I would recommend they change the ladder to stair cases leading to the lagoon as the ladder can be very slippery and too much effort. My husband and I just returned from an absolutely perfect stay at Gili, and I immediately had to share our fabulous experience. Spa was FABULOUS, one of the best we have been too. Our cleaner did a really good job, also he once decorated our bed with flowers, it was so beautiful! The food was also very good, notably the Japanese restaurant. We were so sad to leave him at the end of our stay, and we will definitely ask to work with him again if we are able to return (hopefully)!
