There are a few pressings in the list above with this Cat# - HUTLP 45, 7243 8 44913 1 4 - I purchased what I assume is the Europe 2016 version since I bought it new at my local record shop the other day, however I can only see one ring which is located near the spindle hole. Really impressed with the sound on this pressing I don't have any to compare it to but you can buy with confidence. Add … This is a great, great edition!
Isn't it weird how music can kick you in the nuts? The sound is really good, too. I never took to this at the time, yet somebody put 'lucky man' and 'the drugs don't work' on a jukebox a few years back and I was almost moved to tears. Excellent cut by Matt@Alchemy ( Is there a tube buffer-stage in there somewhere?) (Box, Dlx + 2xLP, Album, RE, RM + 2xLP, Comp + 2xLP)(CD, Album, RE + CD, Comp, RE + 3xCD + DVD-V, NTSC ) So pleased with the sound quality of this remaster and pressing as the original pressings sell for big money. Original pressing are much better. Whichever one this is though, I would avoid it. Took a chance and ordered it from Wal-Mart last week ($20.98). Most all the re-issues are a cheaper vinyl quality. One of the brightest pearls of music of the 90's.
Out of the entire Favorite 90s Albums list, Urban Hymns is the one that sticks out like a sore thumb- not in comparison to the rest of the albums on the list, but for two reasons in particular… number one, I probably listened to this album the least in the 1990s- thought …
Amazing packaging, great live LP and b-sides LP. Add me to the list of buyers who received a mediocre pressing. It seems strange that the band would have use two different lacquer masterings of the same record in the same year. The most psychedelic Britpop album. I never took to this at the time, yet somebody put 'lucky man' and 'the drugs don't work' on a jukebox a few years back and I was almost moved to tears.
- The re-issue to have... bigly!
There is a defect in This Time (Side 4, Track 1) that appears to be fairly common judging from reviews I read online after I bought it.

Informations Correctes It's a shame as the 180g wax is great and could have turned out far, far better than it did. These guys make Coldplay sound like Cannibal Corpse in comparison. The sound on mine is pretty flat as well, without any of that analog warmth that is usually present.
Only complaint is that the corners of the box are coming apart. Some labels press from the same lacquers for years.
Urban Hymns However I not really sure what pressing I have here. Only marked limited to boost sales? en référence à Urban Hymns, Box, Dlx + 2xLP, Album, RE, RM + 2xLP, Comp + 2xLP, 5756244, 00602557562446 Love this. Some of the most boring, white-bread pablum I've ever heard.
Super pressing of an excellent re-mastering job. Dynamic yet subtle and supremely detailed.
Clean copy, no dust...sounds good. Track 13 contains a hidden track (track 13.2). Rich, dynamic and musical... this album just suits the vinyl sound.
Charted from 11-10-97 for 102 weeks in the UK. Only complaint is that the corners of the box are coming apart.
I'm all for having original pressings, but I just picked up a brand new 2016 reissue, and it's one of the nicest pressings of a 90s rock album I've ever heard. Throughout the album, there are loud pops due to little fragments on the vinyl that feel as though they're tiny bits of vinyl/plastic on the surface.
